Does not heat the room well

I bought this for a small room but it does not heat the room well at all. I can feel the heat coming out of the top but as soon as im a foot or 2 away from it and im cold again. I am very disappointed in this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too easy to fall over - tried to find a receipt and couldn't find one - called Delonghi to track down my purchase and they found no evidence based on name, email, address, etc. Ridiculous.

I bought this model because it was highly rated on Wirecutter and I'm not sorry. It is very well constructed, easy to operate, and pumped out enough heat to keep us comfortable in the living room while our central heating system was being replaced. Only improvement might be carrying handles on both sides of unit so it can be easily carried over steps when still too hot to touch.
