Staying warm while without cutting on our heat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We always try to wait until the last minute before we cut the heat on in our home. We don’t want to spend the money to heat the house and we want to enjoy the cool floors that come with fall in North Carolina as long as possible. This heater lets us do that - it’s going to get down to 40 degrees this week - because we can heat up the bathroom in the morning and our bedroom at night without paying to heat the whole house. Easy to use. Absolutely heats an entire room. Now we just need one for our teenage daughter! Excellent!

Heats fast

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy instructions on how to set up the DeLonghi Radiant Heater. Has a weird smell when you turn it on for the first time but will go away after several hours. Love that it is on wheels to move around the room. We use the Heater out on our sun porch at the river on cool evenings to take the chill off. Love the timer that can be set to turn on at a particular time of the day. The heater has a safety device that will switch off to prevent overheating.

I work from home and got tired of being cold in my home office. I am pretty happy with the purchase. The product seems like it is well built and will last a while. My gas bills are high, and I am getting solar panels soon, so getting an energy efficient space heater should work well.
I was not initially very happy about the thermostat setting as it has no temperature settings. But once you find a good temperature you just leave it at that setting.
Also was not sure about the timer, as I did not want this on during the weekend. It is a 24 hour timer. If I unplugged it I would have to reset it every time, and it is not the easiest to read. I solved this by simply turning the thermostat down to the lowest setting on Friday, and then turning it back up Sunday night. I put some tape on the thermostat knob to remind myself where the setting should be.
So overall I am pretty happy.
