Lens Locks Up

This camera was for our daughter. It is lighteight and takes great, clear pictures...when the lens isn't locked up. It looks like this is a widespread problem for this camera model. Wish we had read the reviews prior to purchasing. Waste of $$.
Pros: excellent image quality, Bright LCD
Cons: Poor Low-Light Performance, Short battery life
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My only complaint is there is no spanish handbook for my wife who is Peruvian. No web site, link nothing !!!!!

Fast to turn on an get a shot.
Picture quality is good to best.
Good camera maybe not a rugged one, but still well made.

Pros: good battery life, Good Low-Light Performance, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, durable, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, easy to use
Cons: Complicated controls/menu
