Disappointment

Very disappointed after being a canon loyal customer for years, and even though my previous one sd1100 got ruined very easily when accidentally the lens opened and my hand happened to be in front of it so it was gone...I still got a new canon which is the elph 100 hs which takes very ok pictures in the day light but once we hit the dark the flash is way too week to light up faces so the pictures tend to be too dark...also it requires a very long press to take the picture which is annoying when you stop same stranger to take a photo of you cause usually you end up bothering them by trying and failing to take the picture
Pros: easy to use
Cons: Poor image quality, Poor Low-Light Performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I loved this camera alto i had troule with red eyes
Pros: good battery life, Good Low-Light Performance, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, durable, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use

Canon Elph 100 HS Pros and Cons
Pros
- Good looking and small
- Nice large 3.0 inch LCD screen
- Very good photo quality! When using this camera, I suggest you keep in auto mode. Its a really good auto mode unlike other auto modes on other digital cameras. You will always get a sharp shot with less grain. The HS system really helps.
- Very good 1080p for a small camera.
- Cool shooting features. Toy camera, Poster effect etc
Cons
- No autofocus or optical zoom during video :(

Other than that its a great camera .

Brilliant little camera!

This is by far the best camera I ever used! I paid a good bit for it at my local electronic store,but I heavily recommend it to anyone in the world. I first didn't know how to use it but once things fell into place it was like reading the back of your hand. Features are awesome,sound quality is off the grid good,I wish I got a better color but grey was fine,great LCD display,I hope the buttons get fixed for it cause they're slightly shallow for my big fingers. Other than that,the camera is very easy to vlog with,fits well in the palm of my hand and I hope that this review will help others. ^^

Nice camera - Nice features. I just wish you could force the flash to be On, rather than rely on Automatic setting, which doesn't always come on when you want it.
Pros: Nice features/settings, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
Cons: no fill flash

Love the camera and I highly recommend it Great camera.
Pros: Super-sharp images, lots of presets
Cons: Slow auto-focus, Poor build quality, takes too long for flas to reload

I purchased this as a replacemnet for my 3 yr old powershot that was lost in moving. I got it for an awesome price. There isn't another camera that shoots video in 1080p in this price range. I have never regretted buying a canon! The only thing I don't like is when you don't use auto mode, there is a lot of catagories to go through to get what you want. On the same note though auto mode is so awesome u rarely have to use the other.

I love this camera! It has a CMOS sensor, the HS system,and shoots up to 8 frames per second. It has full 1080 p video.
Pros: great low light, cmos sensor, full hd video, fast shooting, easy & quick to take a video
Cons: deleting is slow
