Some costs cut in the wrong places

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The splash trays are not consistent in notch heigth at all; two "eyes" sit solidly, two do not. I had to take a file to one of them to even get it CLOSE to not rocking back and forth. To adjust oven temperature, you have to turn the oven OFF, then start it again adjusting to the new temperature.
This stove is about as good as you can get in these days of overpriced "smooth tops"/made in China crud, but it is FAR from being as well made as our old range that was destroyed, along with everything else, in a house fire (No, the range was NOT the cause!).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Simple to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just needed a basic range and oven. Burners heats up quickly and baking is a snap. Love the preheat setting. Once the bell sounds, it's ready to bake. Food comes out perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new free standing electric range! Large oven window, and easy to clean cooking surface. Very even heating in the oven, my cookies have never come out better!! Also, seems to hold it's heat in, so my kitchen doesn't get so hot while I'm cooking. I bought it for it's great price, and now that I've used it, it's a great VALUE for the price!

A great stove for the money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't need any bells and whistles and this stove gets the job done! No complaints. The oven cooks true to temperature and the stove boils water quickly. The only weird thing is that the oven makes odd clicking noises as it heats up and cools down. The manual said this is normal (I figure it's something they added to make people want a more expensive "quiet oven":D) I'm not buying it! This is a great stove!:D

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The clock and timers are very simple to operate. The burners heat quickly. The see-through oven door has a nice big see-though area. If you don't want the clock shining all night, you can turn it off (which is also an energy saving feature) (or leave it on for a night light or house clock). I'm very happy with this product, especially considering the price range it's in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a new range and had looked for something very good for the money. This fit the bill perfectly. The temperature you set is what you get. Our old oven had to be set higher to get the temperature desired. I wanted an electric oven and stove top because I am used to cooking that way. We are very pleased with the ease of setting the temperature and it will beep when the temperature is what you want. It is not hard to set or work. The range looks fantastic. The only thing I find wrong with it, is that the top is curved and I can not put my things (cows, dutch boys, knickknacks ) on the top of it. Other than that it works perfectly. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
