Poor quality

I bought this oven a year ago and have had to put 2 stove tops on it since. The paint flaked off underneath the pans on all 3 tops. I am so sorry I bought this model stove. Now I am stuck with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this unit for my home in Utah and I like the self cleaning...my other range was 25 years old and that feature was not available. Does the job very well...cooking etc.

Some serious drawbacks

The back burners get extremely hot when the oven is on to the point where both my boyfriend and I got minor burns from inadvertently touching the presumably cool burner. The self clean feature of the oven never worked because it continues to promo me to lock the door after it is locked.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this stove to replace an old one we had, and one of the main concerns I had was that it would have a self-cleaner - which it does. (And it works fantastically!) This is a very basic stove - coil-top with push buttons for the features and timer. We have not had any problems at all with it. We bought porcelain drip pans to replace the silver ones, but other than that, everything on this stove has been fantastic! The burners work well - the oven is spot on with the heat (we monitor with a thermometer). I really don't have any complaints - the only reason I listed Features as "Good", is just that it simply isn't a bells and whistles kind of stove. It does exactly what it's supposed to do - and does it well!
I would recommend this to a friend!
