Surprised by the quality considering how inexpensive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with my new range. My last GE stove was still working but it had seen better days. It came with the house when we bought it back in '87 and my guess is it was from the 60's or so. I loved it though. I love my new one to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product works quite well. It did take me a little while to calibrte the oven temperature, but it was easy to do. The burners heat up quickly and evenly and water boils faster than I expected, even in a large "spaghetti" pot. I like the large window in the oven door which makes it much easier to look inside without opening the door. It looks nice in my kitchen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really wanted a range without electronics. No printed-circuit control panels; just simple mechanical controls. Control panels often equal or exceed the cost of replacing the entire stove. That's just ridiculous. But alas, no range I could find fit this description.
Secondly, the tone that sounds when the timer ends is so quiet, it cannot be heard more than a few feet away. It should be louder by far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love all the features this stove has. The pre-heat setting for the oven is great. it beeps to let me know it is ready, which is nice if I leave the kitchen. The built in timer, and oven light are nice.

Not only was the range I chose looking good, the features were great and easy to use. I really love the self cleaning feature. I love to cook and I am really enjoying the range. I would recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Generally this is a good oven but the quality isn't exactly the best. The top coils are a bit wobbly and you have to "play" with the temperature to get the desired results a lot of the time. The oven works great and has some nice features such as the easy to use control settings and the extra large door window. I wish they would have offered the covered element features which would have made it easier to wipe the oven out when cleaning. All in all, this is not a bad deal for the price.
