This is a great phone. You can do everything-- text, email, watch videos. It's full of great features.I love the touch screen although I did have some problems with it and had to have my phone replaced. I am very happy with this phone!

The LG Vu was one of the first touchscreen phones I owned and was excited about the prospect of a virtual keyboard. Unfortunately, after owning the Vu for a couple weeks, I have few if any good things to say about it. First, the touchscreen was very inaccurate, even after calibrating it. In call volume was poor. The processor was slow and it took too long to access any application, whether it was messaging, browsing the internet, or even the camera. At 2.0 megapixels, the camera took decent photos but again, the shaky touchscreen made it difficult to operate. My biggest complaint about this phone concerns the use of an external memory card. At the time, I had a 4GB sd card that I wanted to use in the Vu. Every time I tried to access the photos or videos located on the card, it took a very long time for the phone to read the card. One time I actually timed it and it took 27 minutes for the phone to load the data on the memory card. 27 minutes!
The Vu was a noble attempt at a touchscreen phone with many popular features. In practice, however, it fell short in many categories and I was very disappointed. I sold the phone 2 weeks after I bought it and was relieved to do so.
I cannot in good conscience recommend this phone to anyone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to use. Lots of features. Love it. No phone better, even the motarola razor isn't better.

Locks keypad very quickly, cannot enter options when the call is in progress, actual tries to speed dial when you enter options. Bad scrolling. Bad touch screen.
Cons: Difficult to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My tool and my toy

I use this for everything.
My mp3 player.videos,pictures.And with the micro memory i can put a whole lot of everything on it. I use the data cable an connect it to my LG 42LG50 LCD TV and see and hear every thing so lovely:-)

I was really excited when I bought my new phone.however after having it for some time now im not too thrilled with it. texting is an absolule nightmare due to the fact that the keys are so inacurate and when you set it so that the keyboard goes sideways i always hit the wrong buttons unless i use a pen or something with a point. you cant transfer pics to the computer with a usb cord and when you by a memory card pics must be transfered one by one. what a pain! and everytime i put this phone up to my ear it switches over to voicemail.the only thing good about this phone is that it looks cool. THATS IT
