Picture Problem

Great TV but I am glad I bought an extended warranty. The picture bagan flickering and requires a board to be replaced after 15 months

Flickering TV after 1 year

The TV is excellent when it works. However, after owning it for a little over 1 year, the TV has days when the picture constantly flickers. Sometimes changing the channel or power cycling will fix the problem, however we have had days where the flickering will not stop unless the TV is powered down for 12-24 hours. Even then, the flickering does come back.
That being said, when I called Samsung customer support, they were excellent and were able to help me set up an appointment with a repairman. They even extended the warranty since I was still close to the end of the original warranty. Hopefully the TV will be able to be fixed (he believes that the main power supply board is bad).
If you do buy this, I would recommend purchasing an extended warranty.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

Great HD TV

This was my first HDTV when I first bought this in mid-2010. Through all my research I had a choice of either a Sony or a Samsung. I picked this TV and am absolutely satisfied with its capabilities. Even to this day the picture quality and sharpness still amaze me. Samsung is all I buy for my TV/PC Monitor needs because of their quality products.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

THIS IS A GREAT TV. LIGHTWEIGHT, PICTURE IS FANTASTIC, EASY SETUP. LOTS OF USB, COMPONENT INPUTS AND OUTPUTS.

Awesome Picture

The picture on this TV is amazing. This is our first HDTV and we couldn't be happier with it. I wish the speakers were a little bit better but they're not bad. We are running this with the BD-D5700 Blu-ray player from Samsung which make movies like Harry Potter even better.

I have enjoyed this HD flatscreen from day one. Sportng events in high definition is unmatched and thoroughly enjoyable. i liked it so much i bought a 32" for my home office! Movies are clean and crisp and the sound is great. i reommend Samsung to everyone who asks and even those that don't!

Great TV

This TV is like no other i own. Very happy with the clear HD picture and quality of the TV. I will be purchasing other Samsung TV's in the future to replace my existing TV's.

Flicker Problem after only 2 years

only 2 years old and TV has started to flicker. Per my interenet research, this is a very common occurrence. I bought another Samsung TV 2 months ago so am worried that this will happen to that TV also.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
