Terrific Decision

My cheap entry into the HDTV flat screen world died and I decided it was time for an upgrade. I did a little research, then asked several Samsung owners what they thought. The overwhelming response I got was that Samsung wasn't the cheapest, but it's simply the best VALUE for the money. So I started shopping, found a really great price and took the plunge. I have been absolutely delighted ever since. I had a slight problem with the picture brightness varying intermitently at first, but Samsung took care of it with no hassle and now I'm enjoying every minute of vivd picture, color, automatic resolution sensing - the whole nine yards. Thank you, Samsung!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

1st venture into High Def is successful due to Samsung!

This is my first venture in to a high definition flat screen and I can't adequately describe how happy I am with my Samsung LN46C630.
Whenever I make a major purchase, I over analyze all the available options out there. But this time, it was well worth the time and effort. I probably looked at 15 different rating guides and read hundreds of reviews. Most of these pointed me to this Samsung and they were correct!
The brightness and sharpness of the picture is beyond reproach. Also, I was a little concerned about the off angle viewing but after viewing this at the store even from a 70 degree angle, I saw no problems with the picture. Once in my family room, I have found no drop off of picture quality from any angle.
One reason I chose this set and not the 750 was I knew I would be buying a Blu-ray player and would get the internet capabilities there. Therefore, this set not being internet ready or capable was not a problem for me.
In summary, if you are looking for a set with a great picture and adequate features, then this set is for you!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: none that i can think of.

Great TV

The new 2010 models have a great look to them, it looks like glass around the screen, and the base I think, is glass. The touch buttons were moved to the bottom instead of the side, where i always touched them on accident trying to rotate it. The USB slots are awesome for my portable HDD media. The only thing thats not great, is the LAN plug, you can update the firmware via the internet, but the 630 model doesnt have Media2.0. So the LAN plaug doesnt really do much at all. Ill get my next one with the Media2.0. Otherwise a beautiful TV that performs great!

I did my research, Consumer Reports, etc. Then I talked to 3 different store "experts". They all led me to the same TV brand: Samsung. That's all I needed to know.

Great Purchase

A great purchase and great value. This is our first "Hi Def" TV. We replaced our 11 year old 52". We are impressed. I have already upgraded the firmware and found that to be a snap. A truly great value all around. Set up was simple, via a Denon receiver. I would recommend this TV to anyone. Viewing and games are very clear.

WOW! Excellent in all aspects, design, features, performance, everything is fantastic! Easy to set up, excellent picture quality with Blue Ray and over the air HDTV, even with the old RCA connections from another device. Price is also excellent!

A great TV!

Have had our TV for over a month. I knew the picture would be great, but had no idea how fantastic it actually turned out to be. The colors and clarity are so outstanding there are time when the screen almost looks like a 3D picture. Also like the variety of different hookups that are available: USB, computer network, camera, and others.
I could not be more pleased than I have been with our new Samsug LCD 46" TV.
