The worst i have ever used

i purchased one 3 days ago, could not download anything to it, and it wont even reset.Returned it and bought another one, it froze up while downloading.It is not user friendly and could not get help from phillips website. the worst all around i have ever used, i will return this product again and find me smoe other brand

Terrible design cannot compete with Apple

Do not buy this product. It is a cheap product. It doesn't work well with importing from songs bought on Itunes and Songbird does not work well on a Mac. Do yourself a favor, spend the extra and buy an apple product.

good for the first few months, now i can hardly use it, one day i have 3 mbs left and the next without deleting anything i have 2 gb free. dont waste your money

too much time not enough play

this is my fourth go gear vibe. they freeze too much or im too hard on them when i walk my dog. the sound isnt all that great the 4gb has better sound to me. im super fustrated because i want to use this but somehow always have problems with them.
Pros: size sleek packs a punch
Cons: not reliable

I must say I am impressed by the product ease of use.
The only negative point is that once you update the firmware, the product becomes as if "formatted" and some options are no longer available.
I would recommend this to a friend!

manual please?

When you buy this player, there is NO manual that comes with it. There is a "quick set up" guide that does not use any words, only tiny photos and symbols.
I would like to set up folders so that I can pick the type of music I am in the mood for. It seems that all I can find is "shuffle". For the price, I was certain there was a way to manage folders and I'm going to investigate that now. There are "playlists" but the thing does not tell you how to set up the playlists, only delete them.
The sound is very good and clear. I do like that about this player.

Not being very familiar with electronics; I asked a Brother-n-law to help me download some music. He showed me just how easy it really is. Thank you. I also feel the sound quality is excellent. The one and only issue I have, is; the included earphones. I can not use "ear buds". I do realize this as a personal issue. as this is my only concern so far. I am very happy with my MP3.

Easy to use once setup but seems to balk at PC interface with Songbird. Windows 7 attempts to reformat the drive interpreting that there is a problem when none exists!
