Software failure - turns on by itself

Produce was fine for several years, though I agree with others who noted the max volume alarm was a problem if it went off and nobody was home to shut it off. SERIOUS failure after docking and removing iPod:
Now the radio goes on by itself, and Phillips instructions to disconnect power for 24 hours failed to wipe memory. Last night it went off four times (4x) and i must replace it as I cannot rely on a quiet night sleep and reliable alarm.
Pros: until it failed it was a good product
Cons: there is no way to wipe the memory to clean it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Iphone will not stay connected to the dock so the speakers cut out 60 seconds into every song.

Stopped playing music on the right side of dock.

Worked outstanding for the first 4 months then the right side of unit stopped working and did not play bass.
Pros: rich sound when it works, easy to dock iphone
Cons: stopped playing at its best after 4 months
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For the most part, this is a great docking station. But I really hate the fact that it only charges my iPhone when it sees fit. If the docking station charged all the time. It would be the perfect docking station for me. Because it fails here, I would not recommend this product.

Product is very easy to set up and sound from speakers is good.

This product is very easy to set up with the enclosed instructions. The sound quality is pretty good. The FM Radio has a sufficient number of pre-set stations. It would have been nice to have an AM tuner as well, however, that was not critical to my purchase decision.
Pros: ease of set up., lots of pre-set stations.
Cons: no am tuner.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Consider different product if you want a radio /alarm you want to keep. as time passes this radios controls ( BUTTONS ) loose the ability to control what they should control. Got this radio in 2013 by 2017 it was loosing the function control. I still listen to it because the sound is great. But should i really have to to patient to fiddle with this to make it work correctly.
