Good unit except the alarm.

Everything about this unit is of top-notch except the alarm, The alarm will start at a low volume and gradually increase until it is blasting out your entire condominium complex. They think it is Gently waking you up but what they don't realize is that it will blast you awake. I would really love to have an alarm clock like this unit that would actually wake you and gradually increase to the volume of your liking not to their liking, which is Max volume.
Pros: everything but the alarm
Cons: the alarm
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worked For A While

I really enjoyed the ease of this product, but a few months after purchase, the Ipod/Iphone cord became loose, and only worked a portion of the time. I could never get my music to play as an alarm, and if you turn up the volume too much, the sound quality is terrible. As long as you keep the volume at an average level, ths product is very good for a period of time.
Pros: docking station, remote, sound quality, dual alarms
Cons: loose connection, sound quality when loud, music alarm
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Design Flaw in this product

I bought this product to use the 'gentle wake' feature so I can use the alarm to wake to music. After purchase I discover that there is no control over the volume you set to wake to. The alarm goes off and the music rapidly increases to the maximum volume level.
If you happen to not be there, the music blares for a full hour. This is a poorly designed feature and I am so disappointed with the product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was looking forward to using this product but was very disappointed with the sound. Too muddled, too boomy. Not good. Too bad because otherwise this is a good product

Its easy to use and the sound is excellent !!! i use it mos t of the time to hear music it does work great with iphone and is easy to carry everywhere.

Few flaws ruin product with great potential.

Sound is great. Unit size, layout, and user interface are fine. The wake to max volume is totally unacceptable. And I know I should have read the product description more closely, but who builds a clock radio with no AM but only FM. I was so disappointed when I realized this.
The time sync feature is nice, but I would have liked the alarms to sync with the alarm on my iPhone. Maybe too much to expect but now I get both my phone alarm and the docking station alarm going off at same time. Don't want to disable phone alarm for when I'm not at home.

Not recommended for ipod touch 4G

This a great sounding device with alot of nice features but trying to dock an ipod touch 4G is next to impossible because of the spring loaded docking mechanism. The only way to dock the ipod is to engage one corner first and then rotate the ipod. this causes the charging pins to touch together and shorts out the ipod creating hardware failures. This will end up killing the ipod. May work well with other devices other than the ipod.

Surprising Sound

I was worried as to how this little system would sound...big sound for a little system, pretty impressive. The sound coming out of this little system is unbelievable. I like the compact design, not big and bulking and pretty easy to use. Great little system for the price.
