The sound is ok, but oddly, that's the only feature that its good!

It doesn't charge the Ipod, no matter how much charge the Ipod it self has already. The sound is OK, the clock is a good size however is only visible in the dark, the remote is not-well made at all...and IT DOESN'T CHARGE THE IPOD!!!!!

While it won't serve as a replacement for a Bose system, it has decent sound and takes up little space on my desk at work.

muffled at low volume

I bought this unit to use while I'm working in my studio. It's a small space and I like to have music on low in the background. At low volumes the sound from this unit is very muffled. I'm disappointed in its performance for my purpose, but at higher volumes I think it does perform well.

Wow....what can I say?!?! The sound caught me off guard. I had to turn around and make sure that it said Philips and not Bose! Philips you did a great job!!!!

Nice sound but Wake up is TOO LOUD!

Sounds good. Simple clean looking. BUT, two things are a big fail.
1. Blue LED clock display is great in the dark but un-readable in a room with lights on or daylight, even at highest setting. I like to check the time during the daytime also, not just in the dark of the morning.
2. The wake-up to radio/IPOD fails due to it increasing in volume until it is as loud as it can possibly go. So loud its going to blow the speakers. Hit the snooze (like everyone does) in the first couple of seconds. Then I get up forgetting snooze is activated, go into the shower and then it turns on. Mad rush from shower is dangerous.

OMG! WAKING TO MAX VOLUME IS NOT COOL!

It was very simple setting the radio's alarm and preset stations. The sound is fantastic.
After falling asleep in the living room, I heard the radio turn on at 6am the following morning. I had to make a mad dash to the bedroom to turn down the volume which was at the maximun volume of 32. The alarm for the radio and the docking device reaches a max volume of 32 within one minute and will stay at that level until it resets one hour later. Then alarm #2 will do the same.
Imagine being away from home for a week and not turning off Alarm#1 & #2. It will be at max volume two hours per day until you return. What will the neighbors think?!?

Waste of money!

Will not sync with iPhone 5. No instructions in-box to show you how to sync, and web site offers no help, either. No help number to call. It was made in China. What else is there to say?

This system was a waste of money

This system does not set time easily. The only plus with this system is the sound.
* No 7,5, or 2 setting on alarms
* No DayLight Savings setting
NOTHING. This machine was the biggest waste of Money. A big disappointment.
