cuts long whiskers much better than my old arcitec

I shave both my head and face almost every day. I used the Phillips arcitec for about 3 years until the motor got too noisy and loose. I stayed with a Philips product because I was always pleased with the performance of my arcitec. The arcitec always struggled with 2 or 3 days growth and unless the blades were brand new, I needed to supplement the shave with a bladed razor. The Senso touch 3d mows right through any length of whiskers as if it were a lawnmower cutting grass, even with blades that are 3 months old. It was always a chore getting the arcitec head clean unless I used compressed air. The Senso touch head disassembles for much easier cleaning. The only thing I really miss about my arcitec is the compact design of the shaver head. The Senso touch head is a little bulky, probably to accomodate the disassembly feature. I would still recommend the Senso touch over the arcitec.
Pros: cuts any length of whisker
Cons: head bulkier than arcitec

Great shave. but a couple of design flaws....

I love the shave - close and easy! My girlfriend loves the results! I've been a Norelco customer for years and this is the best shave every! However... A couple of problems with the razor. First and foremost, the charging mechanism has no sensor to know if the battery is fully charged and shut down. If you accidentally leave the razor charging for even more than an hour you potentially will fry the electronics, rendering the shaver useless. This happened to me when I first bought the razor. Customer service was outstanding and replaced the razor body, but warned me to never let it charge for more than an hour. Now I watch the charge level and if it's low, try to remember the next morning before I get into the shower to plug it it. I'm am totally paranoid about destroying the razor again. For a company with the engineering skills of Phillips this is, to me, an incredible design flaw. Second complaint, traveling with this razor is impractical because you must take the charging stand with you, there is no way to just plug in the razor. The stand looks like it could easily be broken in a suitcase. Consequently, when I trave I leave the razor home and take an older Norelco with me. THat one is pretty ancent and is starting to fail so it looks like I'm going to have to buy a "travel razor".
So, short version, outstanding shave but I would not buy this one again.
Pros: great shave
Cons: easy to ruin the unit by overcharging, not practical for traveling

Lightweight but well-built; cuts smoothly and close.

I bought this product after using an older Norelco that was at least a decade old. I was very pleasantly surprised to find how lightweight it is, but also solidly built. It cuts smoothly and close. It holds its charge very well, too. Easy to clean.

It would be great if the on/off switch be moved. I occasionally turn razor off inadvertently because of location.

Great shaver, with one caveat

The one shortfall is that the charge cord cannot plug directly into the shaver. This means that to travel with the shaver one has to deal with the bulk of the charge stand. The BIG positive note about the 1250 shaver- I have yet to nick myself.

I love the shave I get with this product, but it has one drawback. beard clippings sometime filter out of the shaving head onto my clothes.
Pros: easy to use and close painless shave
Cons: razor clippings fall out of the head.

I have had various Norelco electric razors over the past 30 years or so. This one is by far the best.

This razor gives a great shave and is easy to use and clean

I've had this razor for about 4 months and it's great! Gives a super-close shave and its ergonomic design makes it extremely easy to get to the hard places - neck, chin. Cleaning it is easy - just rinse under hot water. It charges quickly, and the charge lasts for up to 2 weeks under normal use. Only room for improvement is on the clipper, which is a bit small.
