Contacted customer service about a belt clip missing within a package, sold by another company. OtterBox customer service was exceptionally courteous, immediately processed my claim for a new belt clip. After receiving & using my OtterBox case & belt clip, I am exceptionally pleased with it's performance. I work in the construction field and need a very durable case. I like the setup of the case and the way the phone mounts onto the belt clip, the phone screen facing the belt, fully protecting the screen. Well worth the money spent.

this was sent as a replacement for the Commuter version...which I love. I am not feeling any love for the Defender. The case is difficult to remove/open when needed. The belt clip for the white case is black so it doesn't match and not very secure either. The screen protector is integrated into the case instead of a stick on film and too thick so it looses contact making it difficult to use phone features and swype is nearly impossible. This case is also bigger than the Commuter

Cons: loss of screen use, difficult to remove

Only one real issue with the defender as I've had with other belt style holders.......should you catch the body on something it breaks the unit.....maybe a ram mount ball or some variation that will separate under stress and can be put back together would be a viable option and reduce warranty and replacement claims.Should I patent the idea?
