This is the best case for a Galaxy S4 mini. It's a bit bulky, but that's the price for such great protection. I especially like the screen protector since it doesn't have to be stuck onto the display.

Unfortunately I am unable to review this product other than to say that the design, protection and quality look excellent.
I have been unable to successfully fit the cover to my recently purchased Telstra Samsung Galaxy Mini S4, the screen protection will not clip on properly leaving the cover to fall off.
Shame because the product looks ideal for what I want.

I always thought the cases were a show thing as I had the old flip phone. You guessed it, I dropped my phone 4 days after purchase. When my new phone arrived I did not attempt to use it until my Otter Case was in hand. I am so thankful to have a good case now. I feel confident now. I love the clip that came with it as I don't like anything in my pockets. Love my Otter.

We have used the Defender on six Galaxy phones. They provide very good service. The phone is well protected, and still useable. The outer rubber case tends to stretch and lose fit well before the inner hard plastic case wears out. It would be nice to be able to buy replacement outer cases, even in different colors. The built in screen protector is very nice. It is still necessary to remove the case to clean the phone and case occasionally.
Pros: High quality, Durable, maintains phone functionality
Cons: no replacements for the outer shell

Bought my first smart phone end of December. Wanted to protect it and have a carrying case, so I purchased an Otter Box. I have dropped my phone a few time and it is very well protected. Very well made case, good design, the only con I can think of is the screen saver has a gap where the home button is and little specs of what ever get under screen. Then you have to take it all apart to clean it off.
Cons: gap around home screen saver

I love the case, it's perfect! Except for one thing . . . the hole for the headset is on the wrong side. Everything fits perfect and the flap that has the hole for the headset is in the right place, but it's just the hole is on the wrong side of the flap. Otherwise . . . PERFECT! :)

I knew what I was getting into when I bought this case, so it is performing generally how I want it to. It makes the phone much more secure; it can't fall out of my pocket now, and when I go running with it I have a proper belt clip. The case does everything I want it to so far. I haven't had any water-related incidents, so I can't speak about that, but since I am clumsy I drop my phone often, and it doesn't seem to cause any problems when I do. The only issue I have is one that can't be avoided if you want screen protection: it isn't as sensitive anymore, which makes swipe-typing difficult and annoying. Everything else works wonderfully. (I also hardly ever use my phone for actual calls, so I don't know yet how it will perform when I do)
