I have 2 cases for my s4 mini and both the original and the replacement do not fit properly. The plastic layer that covers the glass scree does not touch the glass and it causes errors, miss types. I have other otter cases on wife's iPhone and on my larger s4 and there is no problem with them.
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: does not fit properly

I find the phone in its protective case is difficult to get into the holster. The case has a "roughened" surface which makes it very comfortable and secure to hold, but that same surface makes it difficult to properly seat the case into the holster. There are places on the case that have a smooth surface, and I think if the corners were make with the smooth surface it would allow the case to more easily be inserted into the holster without reducing the benefits of the roughed surface where one normally holds the phone. Other than that one small complaint, it is a great product.
Pros: High quality, Durable, easy to hold securely
Cons: difficult to fit into holster

seems to be well made. the clip needs to be bigger of wider that goes between the hoster and phone case a person can not just slip the phone in it.. and have it lock. it has to be just right in the hoster to clip together

I was at home and my phone was in my lap. I got up to get my special needs child something to drink. When I got up my phone landed on the coffee table and it landed screen side. I took care of my child and came back to my phone and picked it up to check it out. The screen was cracked and black. It isn't like I dropped it from the roof, it only went 2-3 feet and landed on a table. I had a HTC EVO 4G LTE with Otterbox case and take down a subject and that case went flying across a road, ran over buy a car with no damage to that phone. I have always used this brands of product for my phones and this is the first time that it has failed.
Pros: looks cool
Cons: Not durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am so incredibly clumsy with phones and so far my OtterBox has been working like a dream. My phone has survived a fall from the top bukand a violent fall to the concrete.

I would not take anything for this otterbox protecting my smartphone. I feel safe having it on my phone and would recommend the product to anyone. When I first got my smartphone I was so scared of it sliding out of mine hand. My daughter told me I should consider this product even though it might seem pricey at first, it was well worth it. She was right. I never have the fears I had anymore. It protects it all. I will recommend this product to anyone. And it nice to know I have such great protection on my phone in case something was to happen to in some where down the line.
Thanks otterbox for being the great protection that I needed now and as long as I own this phone.
