had to remove padding on inside of cover otherwise phone does not fit in. I work in a dusty environment and find the dust protection inadequate, had to put a piece of tape over hole for home button to stop dust. protection from impact very good and use of buttons and touch screen also good

Cons: not dust proof enough, hard cover deosnt' fit properly

The defender case is excellent protection for a phone, I am a HVAC tech and use my phone all the time for work in some pretty harsh conditions. I can take the phone out of the case and it looks like the day I bought it. I've droped this phone many times with the case on it and like I said the phone looks brand new. This case is a must have for anybody working in trades.

The phone I have is really thin, and I like that now, since I have the case on it, I like how it adds thickness to it so I don't feel like I'm going to drop or break it easily at any moment.

After some initial problems with my address being a P O Box, the Defender case arrived for my Samsung Galaxy S4 mini....oh happy days!! .......It doesn't fit.....try again, it must fit because Otterbox are the best.....take the back off the phone,..... no, still doesn't fit!! Otterbox Team were contacted and I can not fault the service provided, excellent. Another case arrived around a week after the problem was advised, still doesn't fit correctly....The two inner parts of the replacement case can be clipped together however only on one side at a time, if I try to clip the lugs on the other side then the first side unclips....this is not affording my phone the protection that I require or expected. The outer silicone covering keeps it all together however, I don't know that my phone is properly protected? I do like the look and feel and think that the product would work as advertised if the inner case would only clip together.
Pros: High quality, looks good
Cons: doesn't fit properly

Screen Porotector loose

I just bought my Samsung mini S4 and I love the phone! I bought the case at the same time and I like the design better than the one that was on my iPod touch 4th gen. but the screen protector is loose which makes messaging frustrating. I am going to use it for a few more days and I may take it back and down grade to the commuter even though it has less protection. As a diesel mechanic I need so it is a fine line. Any tips would help maybe an additional screen protector underneath?

Cons: Low quality
