Case and cover are well made and protect well. The holster is the weak component. The holster is prone to break at the swivel point. I'he had the holster replaced twice. However, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Wish the item was made in the USA.

The product allows the phone case to enter the holster with alignment off of the retention point just enough to prevent proper securement, which I learned through trial and error, permitting the phone to drop a few times. However, the case proved capable of protecting the phone until I realized the need to get the phone completely holstered.
Although durable generally, the holster design and material permitted a retaining ear to break off when it was pinched against my hip as I rose from sitting with the phone removed, leaving the ear unsupported. Perhaps stronger construction at such points, or a design that lets the holster move out of such a pinch, could be useful, but reasonable attention to caution is a reasonable remedy, especially if a removable warning sticker comes affixed to the holster.

Cons: screen protector to far from screen, screen protector - watermark, no dust protection on mics, no dust protection on speakers

Our new otterbox belt clip does not secure the phone the way our old one did that we had for our Samsung Galaxy S Infuse. My service manager where I work goes thru belt clips which is the same at least one every 3 months the corner breaks off. Other than the belt clip the case is the same in comparison with the other one I've had. Its quite durable so that is why we gave it a 3 star. Other than the belt clip we do recommend the Otterbox for protection of the Android phones.

This is the best purchase I have ever made. I have dropped my phone a few times and nothing happened to it. Thanks to the otter box protecting it likef it should. In my job I sometimes hit it with my moving around. When that occurs I know my phone is safe when it does fall off my side.

When I needed a case that would offer protection for my new phone, my high-school-aged son told me the best one to get and didn't let me think there might be others, was Otterbox. I trusted his knowledge, and he showed me to the website to order one. Granted, I was a bit surprised at the price, I am sure now that I paid for quality and durability. I have not yet dropped my phone to prove this, and hope to never do that, but I am ultimately happy I purchased this case. I especially like that the screen protector is built into the case. I am still finding the side buttons a little awkward to press, but hopefully will get used to their feel in time.

this is my second one and it still does not fit right around where the plug holes are and it gets tons of dirt and particles undder the screen protector
