The camera takes wonderful pictures, but I am totally confused by all the icons, etc., even after reading the manual.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

A Day With my PL120

If you are looking for a great little point & shoot camera with the ability to view the shot (that you are in) - this is a camera for you.
It has smile-shot, so it won't trigger until it sees teeth.
The loaded software is a bonus, but if you have the standard editing tools already it's not something you'll be using.
But, should you be away from home, the software off-loads on to a host computer, so you have editing tools no matter where you are.
Pay attention to where it focuses - it's where the picture will be the sharpest.
Video and audio for video shots are well worth the price of admission.

We love this camera

My daughter and I both purchased this camera and we couldn't be happier with it. The pictures are awesome and the front view option makes it fun to take pictures. Thank you Samsung!

The Samsung Dual View PL120 Camera has a great feature with its front and back LCD displays. The "children smile shot" is great for getting little kids to smile in your pictures. It takes great quality videos, and pictures. It also has great effects for the pictures.

The good with the bad

Camera works great but there are some flaws with the design. The strap is very difficult to get connected to the camera, and the zoom is a little acward to use at first. Also needs to come with a little more internal memory. We need to get a micro SDHD card now. Also my wife would like to see it in more colors.

This is my first Samsung digital camera, the dual view feature is by far the best feature of the camera. Very good for shooting photos of small children with the "smile" feature in the front view screen. Very great value. Light and extremely compact. The settings and options leave much to be desired but acceptable for the grade and price. As always very durable and functionality of all features on camera are perfect.
