Tons of features for a compact!

I compared the Samsung PL120 to other, similar cameras. The PL120 by far had more features than the others.
The camera setup menus are straight forward, intuitive and very easy to use. I especially like the "smile detection" feature ... if your subject is not smiling, the instant they do smile the camera automatically takes the picture. The same with the "closed eyes" feature ... if the subject blinks at the instant the picture is taken, the camera knows it and immediately takes another picture.
Overall, I am VERY satisfied with my Samsung PL120.
The only drawback I could find was trying to get the hand strap into the place designated for it. I wound up putting a piece of sewing thread through and pulling the strap through with that.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, multiple features

This Camera is phenomenal.. from the photos it captures to its ease to work, features offered! Really I got this camera for my birthday two weeks ago and just LOVE it so far and it really has so many cool aspects to offer!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, unique, ease to use, amazing overall

i bought the camera a year ago and i have to say its the best camera that i have ever bought! i absolutely love it!!!!!! i love how i don't have to change anything no matter what i am taking a picture of, i just point and click and it does the rest!!!!

GREAT Point and Shoot Camera

i bought this camera for my wife as we were expecting a baby and knew she would want to take lots of pictures. This camera has been AMAZING!! The pictures come out great, once you find the right setup. Colors are great, its easy to use and the front facing LCD helps when we are taking a picture of ourselves when out on a hike or out around town. The setup is not too complicated and any issues I found could be easily edited on my computer. Its nice and small enough to carry in my pocket or her purse and weighs so little. Its also great that I can even use the front LCD while in movie mode to frame things correctly and the 720 HD video mode is more than adequate.
It would have been nice if it had a higher optical zoom, but the 5x does a decent job. The flash is very good, sometimes too good making everything to light, but I would rather have a brighter flash than a lower flash.
The front facing LCD in children's mode is GREAT! The older kids laugh and smile at the little animation and smaller kids are captivated by it and stay looking at the camera!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: time between pictures is sometimes slow, some more features like slow motion, more features like color filter
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great vacation

I love this camera! I am known for taking blurred/shaky pictures and I took over 300 pictures and may have had 10 blurred pictures. There are so many features on this camera that I want to know how to do everything. But, this camera focuses for you, will choosing your flash, and play animation to get the children's attention to take still shots. Great camera!

This camera is a breeze to use for a granny like me. Point-N-Shoot is what it is. Even if my hands shake a little, the picture still comes out perfect. I am keeping this until I give up the ghost.
