I gave my sister my iPhone SE. I had this same case on the SE, dropped it several times, and there wasn't a scratch at any point. When I gave her the phone, she thought it was new. IMO, that spoke volumes and why I'm sharing here.

Many times ! I’ve always used Otter Boxes for my iphones. Despite a dozen or more drops/year, I’ve never cracked a lens or broken a case. The OtterBoxes themselves have had a few dings, and earlier models self- destructed (generally belt clip or the clip-in tang lock feature), but Otter has always replaced these parts (minor s&h fee- very reasonable ). Wish they also made a belt loop model (but I’ve removed the clip and pop riveted a belt loop on to the holster for my travel/rough terrain phone!)

I have purchased several Otterbox cases over the years, and this version of the Commuter series is great. It has a soft inner shell, and hard outer shell. It's great for my outdoor / somewhat urban lifestyle. I drop my phone a lot and this case offers superior protection. I absolutely love it.

I have had my Otterbox for a few weeks now and it can take a beating. My 3 yr old watches videos and frequently drops my phone. I’m pleased with the durability, the color and the size. This is the second Otterbox I have owned and I’m just as pleased with my second one. My only negative comment is that the on/off button is tough to push, but it will loisen up.
