I just received my otter box last week. I have a crazy toddler and an hour after I put it on my iPhone my son knocked over my drink. Thanks to the otter box my phone stayed dry. Whew. It's a new phone because my last iPhone got wet and was less than a year old! Best thing ever, especially with a toddler in the house.

the commuter case is thin and attractive, it protects excellently without adding bulk to my phone. I have gotten multiple compliments on this case as well, more so than fancy decorative designer styled cases. I really love my otter box commuter.

Had a iPhone 4 wanted same type case as I had since I loved it. Got a 5S an thought I was getting same case. It is a two part case and appears identical to the one I had on the 4. However the new case is harder and the top on/off button is really hard to depress.
Overall like OtterBox products

This is probably my 10th commuter case and I absolutely love them. Very durable and with Otterbox warranty if they break within the warranty you are covered completely! I couldn't reccomend the commuter case more!

Poor quality rubber

I have bought 2 of these now and both have started to degrade with the first 3/4 weeks. The rubber to open up the lightning port is hard to open and eventually starts to tear. I was surprised the first time because this product has really good reviews but it happened to me again! I will not by this product again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and the soft inner case is already darkening and turning black and blue. After only a couple of days it simply wasn't that pink anymore. Still, a good product to protect my phone, just some cosmetic issues.
