There may be more decorative fashion statement phone cases out there but if you want is a case that will protect the investment you've made in your cell phone. there is only one phone case in my mind that archives what it advertises, that is the Otter Box.

Good case but need to correct the major flaw.

This is our 3rd otter commuter series and all have broken in the same place.The small plastic bar that runs along the front bottom in front of the charging plug. First time under warrenty Next two times out of my pocket, other that that the case is good, has taken some hard drops and came oumOK

The case has nice rubber liner with a hard plastic shell which is easy to assemble, but does not include tips on how to remove when I have to swap simm cards.
The screen protector is a pain to install without leaving some air bubbles.
A good case, but not great like my otter box defender.

The best way to remove this case is to start with the hard outer shell and then proceed to the silicone inner layer. I had the Defender case for a while and found it very difficult to remove the plastic case around the phone. So I switched to the Commuter case. It is definitely easier to remove this case.
I have 2 problems with this case:
1. The power cover and earphone jack cover at the bottom of this case do not close properly and are not flush with the case when attempting to close them (see picture). On my Defender case, these covers were flush and closed properly.
2. The button on the top right of the case used on my iPhone to close the screen is very hard to push. Again, the Defender case I had was not like this and it was easy to push this button.
In summary, I don't like these 2 aspects of the case. I am disappointed with this case and probably won't buy another Otter product.
