Hi Lisa - if the machine has stopped working after a couple of times, there could be a clog or a dirty filter. Give us a call and we'd be happy to help with your machine. 1-800-237-7691.

Great for hardwood floors

I have replaced most of my carpet with hardwood flooring. I wanted something effective and cost efficient. This little machine has met my needs. It fits easily under the bed and other furniture. I typically empty the canister after each room just to be sure I do not overload it. It's easy and quick to empty so it's no trouble. We have two dogs so I want to be careful I do not clog it. I have been using it 2 or 3 times each week. My house is not large and I do work full time, but still consider it efficient and easy to use.

I don't write reviews good or bad but had to create one for this vacuum. It is amazing and I love it. Someone put a lot of thought in it's design. They seemed to think of everything to make cleaning easier. It's lightweight and rolls easy but it's still solidly made. The connections are super easy to connect/disconnect. The controls on the handle are wonderful too. I used this for the first time on a house that had recently had some remodeling done. There was a lot of sheet rock dust, etc. to clean up. This vac did an amazing job on everything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this vacuum recently after we had new hardwood floors installed in our home. It is just what I needed! It works well, lightweight & safe for my floors. So far the only negative I have seen it that the cord could be longer. I solved this issue with just adding an extension cord.

Good machine, ok brushes but the plastic piece that holds the handle when not working is very flimsy. It's plastic and can't handle the weight of the handle. I now have to leave it on the floor because it's broken. Very disappointed!! Please fix this...

This is the best hard floor vacuum I've ever owned. It picks up pet fur effortlessly, but also picks up everything else, unlike my stick vacuum, which is too weak to grab anything but pet hair. It's great having one vacuum that can do everything. It's lightweight, has a carry handle, and and lights up when the canister needs emptying. Highly recommended!

The vacuum works very well when the filters are clean. The foam filter needs to be cleaned very frequently, and there's no reliable way to tell when it's clogged. If there is a total loss of suction it will alarm, but if it's a general loss of power there is nothing to indicate the filter needs to be cleaned other than that you lose tons of suction. I clean the foam filter every few uses and its constantly caked with crud. When it is clean, it works very well. The canister is very small but is easily emptied so for me it's not an issue. The head with the spinning brush is laughable. The bearings are constantly getting fouled and do not spin. The get wrapped with hair and stop spinning. They get mucked up with dirt and stop spinning. I eventually just removed the spinning brush altogether because when the thing doesn't spin it's just a big barrier in the way of everything you're trying to suck up.

We just replaced our carpet with hard wood thru the whole house. The 116- canister vacuum does a great job on the hard wood floors.
