After reading several reviews from different vacuums on PET HAIR, I went with Hard floor Expert Deluxe Canister. I am 100% satisfied with its results & we've had it for 2 months. The dust, debris & pet hair disappear unlike the stand up one we've had. The suction options are amazing. We have all tile floors & one area rug. The tool options are great & sit perfectly on the handle for easy reach/convenience! I love the swivel of the floor piece. It's super easy to reach under the furniture without disconnecting. Pet lovers.....I definitely recommend this ONE! But not if you have carpet...hence the name of the product! :-)

I have chosen that particular vacuum cleaner because we have only hardwood floors - no carpets at all. I like the dedicated brush but I wish it had a better ability to vacuum under the furniture. Due to the fixed angle it will not slide under unless it is turned sideways and not that efficient anymore. This is really annoying. The other negative point is very short cord. Why?

Fantastic product. Very quite. The hard wood floor rotating brush is super soft but highly effective. Great pickup. Lightweight and portable. Lived up to its description. Very pleased.

Lightweight and excellent

Too bad one review brought the average rating down. I've had this vacuum around a year. My primary need was to find a lightweight vacuum to carry up and down stairs with ease. Does an excellent job on my hardwood floors and I also use for light clean ups on scatter rugs. It isn't intended for heavy duty carpet cleaning ! Also, to keep it lightweight, the trade off of emptying the container and having a shorter cord is worth it (although I don't consider the cord short, as has been mentioned.

I have a lot more expensive vacuum and it is nothing compared to my small inexpensive Bissell. I have tile and hardwood floors and a dog and this thing is light weight and easy to grab and use. A breeze to clean up. Goodbye other brands hello Bissell.

Great machine for the money!

I am impressed how much dust it picks up. I couldn't believe there was that much dirt in our house! The clear cannister shows the results which I couldn't easily see with my old vacumn. It is quiet, light weight easy to maneuver. Wish it had a longer power cord but this length is adequate for most of our rooms. Don't wash the paper filter as it turns into concrete, just knock off the excess. The brush nozzle doesn't seem to clean any better than the fixed nozzle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Recently moved into a newly built apartment building which has no carpeting whatsoever. Bought a vacuum (different brand) which I did not like at all so I returned it and ordered the Bissell Hard Floor Expert. What a difference! This little machine lives up to it's billing. There was such suction, it brought out the loose gyproc dust from under the floor boards. Super lightweight and easy to maneuver. Only complaint is the short cord which makes it necessary to move it often from one plug to another.
