[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I Got my kitchenaid for Christmas from my boyfriend and its AMAZING! I couldnt wait to start using it. I have used it now a couple of times and i cant wait to get more attachments! Also i cant get over how many colors there are to choose from! Kitchenaid has my heart and i cant wait more stuff!

Works just like it should

As long as you remember that it does not belong in the dishwasher and should be hand washed only. It works great and you get no residue. Dishwashers take off the finish.

will rust/ruin your food and hands

I've had this for years. Although the wires bend, they never have come off the base. That said I would never buy this again as the base continues to erode and stain my hands and any food that contacts it with a dark gray residue.

Grey residue gets on your hands and in your food.

Our wire whip leaves a grey residue that gets on your hand/food. I came here to try to find a dish-washer safe version and am disappointed to see that this gross one is the only version. All of the other attachments are fine, but this one I do not recommend.
