Got this for Christmas and have used several times already. Saves me a lot of time in food preparation and is easy to clean. Takes practice to stuff sausage, the chef's on TV make it look so easy. The slicing blades are great for many different recipes, and the shredder attachments save time and clean easily. I no longer buy pre-shredded Parmesan anymore either. And coleslaw is a breeze now.

I like others had wanted a KitchenAid for years, finally got one, with the attachments. The mixer is great, attachments are -0-. Everytime I "try" and cut, chop, grind the item is ALL OVER ME AND MY KITCHEN. A very poor design. it shoots straight out not down to the bowl were you want and need it to go. If I am doing something wrong I sure do not know what it is.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

20 years as a chef I never expected such trash 2 hours for 16 links, the designer needs to be fired, this thing thrown out and start all over with someone who understands making sausage, shame on kitchen-aid for even making this

Finally got this after wanting for years. Tried to slice vegetables, nothing to hold them they go sideways get stuck long side and get stuck. Slices them to thin no matter which one you use. All I got was slivers of carrots and mush for cucumbers. If I doing wrong I won't no. Hello people no instruction!

We have had this attachment for at least 15 years. It was used once for a cranberry relish, cleaned and then stored in a garage in Florida. Upon my retirement, I became interested in cooking and when I retrieved this attachment from storage, I found it to have stress cracks around where the shreader attachment and the grinder attachment have a metal insert.
In my estimation, the plastic is of very poor quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fit for this product is excellent I’ve used other grinders and shredders and they do not fit nearly as well as the KitchenAid this is a fantastic item when used properly Making sausage and other items is easy and it comes out great

I got this as a gift and I have to say I've used it more than I thought I ever would. I have used this by buying turkey breast and grinding it up for burgers or meatballs. I have also used this make hash browns and shred up blocks of cheese.
