Great product.

This does the job. Overall, I’m very happy with this attachment, however,you need to check the retaining nut’s tightness after turning it on. I’ve had the nut work loose twice, and the mill spin off if I don’t check the nut right after I turn it on.

Waste of money

Extremely loud and slow. It takes forever to finely grind flour from grain. You have to pause to let it cool down because it heats your grains which will destroy the motor of your kitchenaid and defeat the purpose of grinding fresh flour as it denatures the proteins and nutrients at that temperature. I have complained to kitchenaid but they can't do anything because the product is inferior to begin with so this slow, loud device is working as intended. I'm an avid home baker and this cannot keep up with me. Read reviews of other grain mills before you make the same mistake I did.

This is an excellent product for grinding my grains for gluten-free bread. I can even make some of my flours finer than I purchased. My husband loved it too and he even took over grinding my grains! Worth my purchase!!

This product does not work properly

This is not worth the money. It takes hours to make enough flour to make one bread. Save your money and do not buy. I have liked most of the other attachments for the mixer, but not this one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This metal grain mill is amazing. I grind flour in a very short time and make really fresh bread. Such a difference! Good quality product attaches easily to my stand mixers. If you bake you need this. Wheat berries are not hard to find and have extended shelf life.

Poor construction

I bought this and am not happy with it. It does not grind very fine. The parts are not made well and are loose fitting, not close tolerances.
