Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the grain mill about a month ago and have used it twice so far. I ground red winter wheat on the fine setting and the flour turned out great. It helped me make yummy homemade banana bread.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this mill! I bough some hard white wheat and made some cookies. The finest setting was still not very fine so I ran it through twice and it seemed to do the trick! Took about 5 minutes for 4 cups on the highest setting.

Poorly machined, did not fit mixer well and wobbled.

The spline end was not machined properly, did not fit. The replacement was close to the same and wobbled.
Does not grind corn well at all. Do not know how so few working parts could clog, but it did at the "flour" end. Yes, the corn was dry. Perhaps the auger could be more pronounce to help with emptying? Very frustrating so out came the hand crank mill which worked better.

Broken after 13 months

My mill is one month past the warrantee, and as of this morning it’s completely unusable. The metal pin that holds the burr in place came out and ran through the grind worm. Accordingly to the manual, this piece isn’t even supposed to move. The metal is now warped beyond repair. I would not recommend this product. I only used about once every three weeks. I liked it before it broke.

Beautiful, solid, does the job BUT at great cost..

I bought this attachment a month ago for my Pro600 and loved having it to grind my rye berries. It’s beautiful, solid and does the job... I ground 6cups of berries once a week and the attachment performed as expected... until the attachment gears in my mixer stripped out terribly. My mixer is my kitchen “baby” and I’ve never had a single issue with it before so this happening, all but broke my heart. I followed the instructions in the booklet about not running it too long and grinding in bulk... so I was very upset that this happened. I’ve never had an issue with any of the other attachments I have and now I have to pay to get my mixer fixed. I wanted to love it... but had I known it would hurt my mixer so easily, I would not have made this purchase.

Does not work as a Flour Mill

Does not work well if you need to mill flour. It took ~45 minutes to mill 120 grams of flour and the machine would overheat. Would not recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the all metal grain mill and use it two or three times per week. I find it best to grind my wheat berries on the coarse setting first and then grind it twice on the fine setting.
