Mills as hoped! Checking re: food sensitivities…

This milled as hoped for an innovative nutritious ingredient! Here’s what I’m seeking to find out about: 1. Is it possible to clean the mill attachment thoroughly enough to prevent gluten-and-other- cross-contamination, in case of allergies or food sensitivities? 2. Is there a method by which dishwasher top-rack cleaning could be safe for the longevity, if not durability, of use of the mill attachment? 3. Is there a culinary-recommended oil or mineral oil for use in maintenance, in accordance with the recommendations printed in the included booklet? 4. Do you happen to sell lids/covers for the top and bottom of the mill attachment, especially in case continuous disassembly-cleaning-reassembly continues to be contraindicated?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with this grain mill. I use it several times a week for homemade bread. It takes just a few minutes to mill about 6 cups each time. I don't have any problem using it with my old, heavy duty Kitchen Aid mixer. I do recommend it.
This is not worth the money. It takes hours to make enough flour to make one bread. Save your money and do not buy. I have liked most of the other attachments for the mixer, but not this one!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this attachment for grinding dried herbs into powder. The machine clogs up quickly and shows heavy wear on the grinding teeth. The herbs are already coarsely ground and don't appear to have moisture. The attachment clogs within 1-2 minutes of being turned on and must be completely disassembled in order to clean it out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this Mill to add to my KitchenAid Stand mixer so I could grind my own fresh flour on demand. The quality is top-notch as all KitchenAid products. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to make their own flour and add another handy tool to their Stand Mixer toolkit. I absolutely love it.
It works great but it takes waaaayyyy too long. I timed it Monday afternoon for how long it took for 4 cups of hard wheat and it took 20 min. Today I did 4 cups of soft wheat and it took an hour. Plus it makes the mixer motor really hot (I don’t want to burn up the motor with milling) and then the mill gets really hot to the touch also (it’s all metal). It would be great for someone that occasionally mills or does smaller quantities. But I need to do 4 cups for when I make bread.
