[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this months ago. But another day when I wanted to make bread I didn't have wheat flour. Luckily I had whole wheat and the mill so milled the wheat to make bread. It was so useful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Grain Mill attachment for my Kitchenaid and love it. The different settings makes it easy to mill to any size, and it works exceptionally well. The flour from grains is so much tastier than store bought flour and it makes the tastiest whole wheat bread I’ve ever tasted.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Taking my baking to another level. Making whole meal flour fresh as needed and none of the white flour with bran added. And no flour moth caterpillar larva. A very good attachment for the home baker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this attachment as I wanted to be able to grind and mix my own bread flour from grain. It works well and not as much time grinding as I had expected. The front select dial for size of grind is easy to use. The product is cast so no plastic parts. I did purchase this on sale so the price was very reasonable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've made a couple of batches of flour with the grain mill. The result is not as fine as I would like however I accept that this is not a stone mill - it is a metal auger and it won't grind the grain as finely. I'm using Wheat Grain Correll Biodynamic from Sovereign Foods and made a couple of different style bread loaves. The mill works well although the loaf is a little heavier and a slightly less "bouncy" feel to the dough as it proves and doesn't show a lot of gluten development, which I think is due to the coarser grind. I tried running the grain through on the coarsest setting first, and then again on the fine setting and this seemed to provide a better result than going straight to the fine setting. I then sieved the flour to remove any chunky bits and out of 500gm flour this was only about 10g. So overall a good result. The mixer itself is doing a lot of work and gets reasonable hot which is why they specify to do a batch and then let it cool down. Happy with the result overall though!

We loved the idea of grinding wheat to make our own flour. The grinder works really well and the first thing we did ws make two loaves of bread which my wife said was delicious!
