Good Toast but inconsistent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mainly do 2 slices at a time and set it on 5. Even though the slices were of different types of bread, the toast comes out perfect. However, the next lot comes out too brown, so have to cancel early or set it down to 4. Doing a single slice has the same problem. I set it to 3 and the first slice is great, but next one is too overdone and need to watch it and cancel.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very happy with the toaster . It has a smooth action and the toast glides up when toasting is finished so the toast stays in tte toaster ( it doesn’t pop up) It also looks really nice on tte bench.
I love how you can see the progress of the toasting.
The space is large enough for longer pieces and wide enough for thickly sliced bread. It toasts the bread evenly and doesn’t take forever to do so.
What more could you want in a toaster!

4 Slice Artisan Automatic Toaster in Almond Cream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would highly recommend this toaster. Initially I was hesitant in purchasing it because of the price, but I am so glad that I did. It's very easy to use and I love the automatic toast up and down feature without having to use a lever. The color is gorgeous, and the toaster looks great in my kitchen. Thank you KitchenAid for a brilliant product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the 4 slice Artisan toaster a few weeks ago and it is probably the best toaster I have ever had. The toaster can manage variable widths with ease making it excellent for home made bread, crumpets and normal store bought bread. It is easy to operate and has a range of modes including crumpet, defrost and keep warm and reheat. It also looks very stylish on my kitchen bench top. Very happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this toaster for our new home. As luck would have it the day it arrived our old toaster stopped working, so we had to unpack it. Very Smick unit indeed, easy to operate and outstanding toasting. Possibly the best toaster we have ever owned. Highly recommend.
