I think I received a faulty toaster.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the toaster. Have used a few times. Disappointed. It doesn't toast evenly at all. Some sections of the bread are not toasted at all. Didn't tell my daughter - wanted to see what she thought without clouding her judgement. She used it a couple of times and said 'there's something wrong with the new toaster - it's not toasting all parts of the bread'. I also agree with another reviewer who said the beeping is very loud and not necessary - especially when you've just pushed the activate button - you know you're toasting so the beep isn't necessary. The dials to change the level of toasting are also a bit strange - the dials don't seem to lock in for each level of toasting. Aside from that, it looks fabulous. I would like to rate the item again if I can receive a replacement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks good, but I think my unit slipped through unnoticed at the quality control stage. It isn't toasting evenly. In fact, some of the bread doesn't get any toasting at all. The knob to adjust the browning level is very glitchy. Once I get this sorted, I'm sure I will be happy but for now, it's disappointing. The only other thing I think is not great is the very loud beeping which sounds at both the start and finish of toasting. I get the beep at the end of the toasting function, but not at the start - doesn't make sense to me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter purchased this KitchenAid toaster and matching kettle for my birthday in the colour pistachio green and I must say what a lovely set it is! Such a beautiful shade of green, both items function perfectly and I can tell by the quality that they will last me a very long time!

Love the countdown and the beep to let you know its finished. Also the super high rise means no more burnt fingers trying to get your toast out once it's Cooked

Perfect toast every time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toaster is the bee's knees! Using it for bagels, crumpets and bread, we have had the perfect toast with the digital dial and crumpet setting. The best part is that when toasting two different types of bread we can set each side's cooking time separately meaning both are cooked to perfection. By far my favourite feature is the slow lower and slow rise, so no more toast shooting out of slots when done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fabulous toaster. Lots of options for toasting. Wide slots even for a hot cross bun cut in half, so it was great over Easter. My husband use one side set on 4 for his toast, my side is set on 7 for my muffins. Love that you can walk away and it beeps to let you know when cooking has finished. Plus it looks fantastic.
The only thing that would make it better is if you could lift the slices up a bit higher to get them out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] so glad I bought this toaster. So far ive done hot cross buns, fruit loaf, crumpets, using the crumpet feature, pancakes pikelets,banana bread and of course toast. With the 4 slices feature it's a dream, serving everyone. Great product.
