Uneven Toasting

One of the slots does not cook evenly with one side cooking OK and the other hardly at all.
Also slots are too short. Good luck fitting any bread in there that is not from a standard type load.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

One side for each of us

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband is a coeliac so we can’t share the same toaster so we don’t cross contaminate the gluten free bread. With the 4 slice toaster we can use one side each. It slides up gently when it’s done, it doesn’t pop up and crumbs won’t fly into the opposite side, and so we don’t have cross contamination. Best purchase ever! And I love the count down timer on the toast so you know how long it has to go.

Sturdy and full of carefully considered features

The toaster is really robust and feels like a well made German saloon car - buttons are solid, instructions are clear and it toasts bread, baguette and other items, to perfection. Seriously worth every single cent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toaster not only looks great in my kitchen, it has many wonderful features. It’s very quiet when the toast slowly lowers and rises in the slots. It’s very simple to use. The details on the dials make sense. Has a lovely smooth finish. Would highly recommend even at a more expensive price. Well worth it.
