[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I waited till I had used the toaster sufficiently to review it properly because after reading some negative reviews I was a little hesitant in my purchase. However I am thrilled to tell you that it is amazing and functions exactly as it should. The separate cooking zones make it very usable as my husband likes barely cooked toast and I like mine well done! It does cook all types of breads/crumpets/muffins properly and to perfection once you know which setting to use for each type of bread eg grain breads need more toasting than sourdough - and then again each sourdough brand needs different cook times - but you get to know these and there is always the 'cancel' button if you don't get it quite right. All the buttons are very useful and I love the 'defrost' button which I use with very thick sliced frozen fruit bread because that always burns with the centre still frozen with my old toaster. Overall it is very stylish but functional. I love it. The only downfall is that it doesn't have a lever to raise small items up a little higher after toasting so that it is easier to retrieve - but I have overcome that by putting them in vertically instead of horizontally. Gotta love all this new technology. Highly recommend.

High price does not translate to high quality

Bought this toaster as I thought its price and brand reputation would equal high quality. However, it has now started tripping the safety switch in the fusebox barely six months out of warranty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second 4 slice toaster I would not bother looking at any other brand as I have tried and purchased others over my 53 years of marriage can. KitchenAid out preform by far

Best Feature: Centre's slice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Range of options (Crumpets, Defrost, Reheat and Keep Warm) covers all of my needs very well. The best feature is a bonus that places the slice centrally to ensure identical toasting to both sides regardless of thickness.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Toast of all Toasters

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A friend of mine had this toaster and I had to have one! It looks elegant, has more features than I thought a toaster could have - so many toasting options, you can tell when it will be finished by its screen, with the most graceful rising function and alert sound.
I got the red option and it looks stately on the kitchen bench.
The best toaster I've ever had...and I've been around the block and back!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After staying at an AirBnB which had one of these toasters, we fell in love and had to get one of our own. Since it's arrival, we have used two or three times a day using different types of bread, muffins, crumpets etc. Once we worked out what settings for what bread, his toaster has not missed a beat.

I bought this toaster because it was well reviewed and appeared to have good reliability. 3 weeks in, so far so good.
What can you say about a toaster - it does its job but hey, it’s just a toaster, not rocket science. It’s very large, seems robust and it works. The big negative for me is the HIGHLY irritating beep when you turn it on and when it’s finished toasting. I mean, I can maybe understand the beep when it has finished (although it could be more subtle) but why does it beep when start toasting? I’m right there - I KNOW it’s started so why give me an audible signal that can be heard in the next postcode?
