There no way to check the progress without starting over.

I bought this toaster a month ago. We love the way it toasts but it has the most horrendous beep when the cycle starts and ends. The noise is so loud our dog freaks out and tries to dig and escape under the fence. Unfortunately the noise can not be disconnected. I would live to return it but we used it before we knew the beep existed.

Absolutely love the toaster, it looks great and of course does a great job. The only issue I have with it is the loud beeping sound it makes, I wish I could turn this down as it is super unnecessary.

Bought this toaster 2 weeks ago as we needed a 4 slice toaster.
It looks great and is solid in construction like all KitchenAid products.
Love the digital readout to see your independent settings and progress.
Also like KitchenAid products it doesn't come cheap.
