Hate this toaster cos I specifically purchased it to replace Breville and yours had muffin/crumpet setting, unfortunately the result is very poor. It doesn’t toast it as all just cooks it and dries it out. So went back to broken breville which works better than fully functioning kitchen aid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Reliable toaster

We have had this expensive toaster for several years now, has been reliable, never an issue and cooks toast and crumpets well. Only of late it is now showing its age with usage and is either not cooking or burning the toast. This toaster is used daily and has never failed us so in the end has been well worth the money initially spent. Looking forward to upgrading to another toaster of this brand. Very reliable product over the years.

Great performance. Toasts are evenly browned. Crumpet setting gets my bagels just right: toasted inside and warm outside.
Like the soft up and down action. It’s very smooth and quiet. The beeping is slightly too loud though. Would be nice to adjust volume.
Also crumb tray should be accessible from the front as toaster is quite large and cumbersome to rotate to access
