My review is 90% positive. Firstly, this thing really picks up the dirt. I vacuumed 1st with my old vacuum, then with this. wow! I could not believe the stuff left behind. I love that you don't have to buy bags, but the lever to open the dirt canister is on the bottom, which makes emptying a little awkward, really should be on the top like the dyson. Secondly, for this price point, more tools should be included. Not much you can do with just a crevice tool and pet tool. I think most people would want at least the bare floor tool and extension tool.

This gets 1 star for the pet hair attachment, I would give this attachment 5 stars on its own! It gets another star for suction, however the suction is also the reason I can't stand using it. When you remove the lift off to use the hose the suction is so strong that it sucks the hose in, making it really short. You either only go as far as you can reach while holding the Liftoff or you let the Liftoff dangle and flop all over the place.

Four Stars for Carpet, but . . .

I have used an Amway ClearTrak for the last twenty+ years. It finally gave up right before Thanksgiving, the motor having burned up from dust infiltration. That vacuum was so strong, reliable and repairable that I am a bit spoiled. With multiple cats I vacuum nearly every day. About ten years ago I thought that I would get a new vacuum and bought a Eureka which was similar to this Bissell. It had an air powered pet hair tool almost identical to this Bissell. That tool was useless in the same way that this new Bissell tool is. It just doesn't pick up much of anything. Within six months of buying that Eureka, the daily hair routine had killed that vacuum and I pulled my old trusty ClearTrak out of the shed where I had put it and went back to using it every day . . . for another ten years until just a couple weeks ago. RIP ClearTrak. I had to have something, so I got this Bissell, model #2763, Powerglide Liftoff Pet vacuum. It is easy to use, powerful and convenient . . . for carpets. It makes short work of vacuuming carpets and is very efficient, although, it must be emptied twice as often as my old Amway vacuum. The dust cup is very small. Unfortunately, it's not much good at anything else. As already mentioned, the air powered pet hair tool is useless. The only other hose tool that it came with is a narrow crevice tool. The tool is OK, but the hose is annoyingly difficult to use. It is stretchy, and wants to constantly return to the retracted position, so you are always in a tug of war with your machine in order to use it. This means that the light weight machine, attached to you by a spring disguised as a hose, will frequently topple over and hit you on the head! To add insult to injury, the hose is an odd size and none of the attachments from any of my previous vacuums will fit. I also question the durability of this vacuum. I expect that the daily cat hair routine will kill it before long, but I hope I'm wrong
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

How do i use the lift off tech

Yo bissel i dont know how to use fhe lift off and connect it to the brushes since it doesnt work when i do idk if im.not doing it right and i cant find the manual is there anyplace i can find a manual or instructions online

I like the fact that this is a lightweight vacuum. I have arthritis in my back and found I could vacuum painlessly. It transitioned nicely from carpet to hardwood floors and picked up the kitty kibble, didn't spread it around. The pet turbo eraser works great on the cat perch.

Good Vacuum Hate the swivel

Got this a couple of weeks ago. Love the vacuum but hate the swivel. It always falls to the left and is very hard to keep straight. My 78 yr old mother would never be able to handle this vacuum. Very heavy and does not steer well at all.
