This product is terrific! It has incredible suction and this power isn't diminished when using the onboard tools. The lift off feature makes cleaning much easier, more versatile and complete. It does an amazing job when cleaning carpeted steps, much better than any device I have used in the past. The bag less feature lets you see if you have picked up something which may have been lost on the carpet, and it saves money and time on replacement bags. I have several other Bissell products and all are wonderful and make cleaning easier and much more effective.

picks up pet hair

Excellent, light weight and easy to use and OMG it picks up pet hair great I have 3 long hair dogs and the first time was great it pulls up almost all the pet hair from the carpet witch I have never found one to do that before. Would never say I love a vacuum cleaner but this one wins hands down I give it 5 stars for the great work it does.

Belt will not stay on

We have had this vacuum since early spring. I get so frustrated every time I Vacuum I want to scream. The belt falls every 5 minutes. And do not hit your couch or chair because it will come off again. I have had luck with Bissell in the past. But will never buy another one. I just tried to finish vacuuming this afternoon and was ready to throw it against a wall. My husband had to put the the belt back on 4 times and we do not live in a mansion. It should take no longer than 30 minutes to vacuum each room. It took me an hour. The vacuum seemed awesome at first, but needs to be redesigned. Love the swivel. But that is about it right now.

Great product BUT.......

My wife bought the Bissell Advanced Pet Vacuum with Lift-off Technology early this year or late last year. We love Bissell vacuums and when our last one stopped suctioning, instead of fixing it like I normally would, we made that as an excuse to buy one, well, actually it was my wife's excuse to try out the bagless with lift-off capability in order to vacuum properly the stairs. PROS: great suction, our carpet is medium thick but we were amazed how much dirt was collected from one room!; easy to use, not to heavy on the wrist around corners. CONS: hose is not that stretchable so it falls easily. The on/off button stopped working suddenly. It would have received a 4-5 star from us Bissell lovers except for the hose and the start button. What's up with that button Bissell? After years of trusting your product, we're kinda thinking of checking on other brands......
