[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the versatility of the Powerglide Professional - we have mostly hardwood with area rugs throughout our main floor with all carpet downstairs plus own a dog and this vacuum tackles it all! I like the lift off option for doing stairs and furniture as well. Great product, worth every penny!

The dirty getter

First I would like to say thank you for the vacuum. I just finished vacuuming the house and it did a vary good job. I could move the vacuum with ease and I like the fact that I can get under the kitchen cabinet. I liked the way you can take the unit apart and get the stairs and how you can empty and clean the unit. I had just vacuumed Friday and I picked up a lot of dog hair and dirt, which did surprise me. I would like to see more cord. Maybe 5 feet, and the crevice tool does not stay attached to the vac. I think you should put a extension wand in with each unit. One of the most important facts is I would like to see it made in USA

I purchased this yesterday to replace my old hoover vacuum cleaner. I thought it was great until I cleaned my dark carpet. it shows all the dirt that it doesn't pick up. will not get another Bissell. going back to hoover.b

Bought this little gem to replace a self-propelled Hoover Wind Tunnel which, after many years of service, was having some problems. This Bessell is our first bagless and is certainly doing a good job for us. We have some brand-new carpets (medium height) and some old carpets and some bare floor. We certainly fill up the cannister which is edifying to see. It is a bit hard to push around on some of the new carpet but I have found that it helps if you lower the handle a bit (better mechanical advantage). The cannister is easy to empty out with little mess. The cord is long enough but, at times, I wish it were just a bit longer. I like the slimmer head height and I really like the swivel action! So far, so good - we are pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have to say, I was not a huge fan of Bissell in the past, I had gone through three uprights , the handles where weak and cheap,plus they did not groom the carpet . So i went with Hoover which i still have and I do like it. My Friend let me use their new bissell, I really like this new model from bissell ,I love the pod to clean your car, ect. I would like to say it does deep clean the carpet. lift's the nap of the carpet, I have to list the cons as well, Not all the tool will store on the vacuum , So you still have to go back and forth to get the tool you need, Second I do wish it had a carpet height on it, I like to set the nozzle height where I want it, Thrid I wish it had a light , Fourth I would love to see a newer model that has a ele powerhead that you attach to the wand for cleaning under beds, ( not a Air driven thing , but a real ele powerhead that can be used in the pod model.) The upright will not go under beds, the way it is now, So may your team can make a thrid model with these items. I also have to say I would love to see Bissell make a brand New bagless canister like Digpro , but in Bagless. If you would make one like that,. I would buy them both in a hartbeat, again this New upright is great, better than the cheap ones in the past, just make these changes and add the new canister , Im sold / please let me know . Please work on these new models, because if you do I would give my hoover up in a hartbeat. for both of these.

Bought this to replace a Bissell total floors pet which I thought had started to not work as well as ithe had. The new vacuum has no suction and clogs constantly. I find myself often going for the old vacuum in stead of the new one.

Thank you for your review. We're sorry your machine is clogging up. Make sure the filters are clean this could be why you are getting clogs in your machine. The foam filters are hand washable with mild soap. Make sure they are dry before reinstalling. Also, if you remove the upholstery hose check for any hair/debris that may still be in the hose. A broom stick handle works great to push the clogs through.

I have had to take it apart a few times already. Also I don't like that the attachements are separate. I am very disappointed with this machine
