Fantastic power

I was very surprised with the power of this vacuum! It is MUCH more powerful than our 10 year old Kirby. I used the Kirby and double vacuumed an area of carpet four feet by eight feet. Then I went over the same section with the Bissell. The much lighter and far less expensive Bissell picked up more dirt and hair! The Bissell can go from thick rug to tile floors without changing attachments. On thick carpet, the Bissell is very hard to push since it doesn't have a drive, but on short carpet, wood, or tile floors it is easy to use. One problem I did have was when I went to dump the dirt and hair, the drop-down door fell off. I was able to reinstall is, but it took 10 minutes to force it back on. Overall, this is a great vacuum. I'm going to use is MUCH more than the Kirby!!

Wonderfully portable model that is easy to use

I had been long overdue for a new vacuum cleaner, and with two pets in the house I needed one that could keep up with the pet hair. This model is smaller than what I previously used, but this ended up being a great advantage towards getting into some tighter spaces. I also love that I no longer have to buy bags or wonder if the vacuum is full. But I think my favorite feature is how fast and easy it is to switch from regular sweeping to using an attachment. The only negative I have at all would be that I wish the assembly photos had been a bit clearer. It ended up being an easy assembly, but the graphics were not clear and it was difficult to view where the various parts were to go. Thankfully, there weren't very many to assemble and I was able to figure it out rather easily anyway. Between this vacuum and my new carpet cleaner my floors have never looked better!

Strap falls off first time used

I am so dissapointed. This is an expensive vacuum and after using it for 30 minutes the strap fell off, on very short carpet. Then again after 3 minutes of use. My husband has to reposition the strap. I am not strong enough to do it. How can I return this horrible machine? Or is there a way to prevent this. For the price, I should not need to be patient!

I was looking for a lighter weight vacuum that could really do the job of large vac. I was very happy on how easy it was to assemble. I have 2 cats & 1 dog & the rubber hand tool took the fur right of the couch! I used to have to vacuum & tape roller it. I am very delighted with this purchase & highly recommend it!!!!!

Great Suction Better Than Dyson

Easy to use. Not hard to push. Really gets up the deep down dirt. Better than our Dyson that I took back. Like being able lift off part of the vacuum to clean steps. Good on hardwood.

Do not buy this product if you have a dog that sheds, as hair accumulates where the belt meets the motor and roller. I am on my second machine because of this and just had the belt break again. I was cleaning off the roller after every vacuum and even that did not fully help. Once the new belt arrives, I will have to take the roller completely out after each vacuum to ensure this does not happen again. Wish it was more durable than that, but I cannot afford to buy another vacuum. I have never owned a vacuum that I have to take apart after each use in order for it to not break.

Thanks for your review. We're sorry for your trouble. It is good to clean off the brush roller if a lot of hair is suctioned. To save your belt life make sure to have the height adjustment on the correct setting for your floor level.
