My Husband got me this sweeper for Christmas. At first i was upset cuz my fist thought Am i not cleaning the house good enough? Then I gave the sweeper a try and OMG! It turns out my old sweeper was not picking up any thing i think. One pass thru the living room and the tank was full of gross grey matter. It was disgusting. It just goes to show, my hubby knows best! The best present i have ever gotten. Thanks honey!

Bought this product in April 2014. It is very light weight compared to my other Bissell and the suction is great. Gets up pet hair very well. I like the detachable canister, it makes it easy for doing the stairs. So for, it does what Bissell says it will do. I Would recommend it if looking for a new vacuum.

Some great features, some poor features

This new vacuum has great suction overall. Great on couches, furniture and all floors. Love the bagless canister and the power buttons for using the brush or not. It is versatile and the Lift-Off function is great. The empty button on top is nice too, easy to empty. Downsides in my opinion, it is heavy than I expected. The Lift-Off is great but the canister is not very light to walk around with. I concur will several others that the cord is in a horrible place. To have to bend over each time to unravel or to pick it up just to use is poor design. The base needs a lever to lock into place, when in upright position, if you run over any edges/bumps, it falls. Lastly, does not get edges as well as hoped.

Love this new vacuum as I have a dog that sheds. I am able to pick up her hair on the carpet, stairs, tile, wood floors, and furniture efficiently and thoroughly. Highly recommend to any pet owners with pets that shed. Great suction!

Worthless, belt will not stay on the brush

Can I give zero stars? I have never purchased a product so completely worthless in my life. Directly out of the box, and I have not been able to use the vacuum for longer than 5 minutes without the belt falling off the brush. I had to disassemble the bottom cover and reattach the belt three times just to finish vacuuming one small bedroom. This vacuum is getting boxed up and returned ASAP.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vacuum works well and picks up most pet hair - I have a medium sized husky so there's a lot of hair. However the product is heavy and while the ball apparatus does improve maneuverability, it sometimes sticks or clicks, and sometime the weight of the vacuum swings around unpredictably. The added tools (pet eraser, etc.) are great.
