[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good suction. Beater action is good. Has difficulties with different carpet heights. Tools are not secure when using the vacuum cleaner.

I purchased the Deluxe upright pet vacuum w/ lift off. I have one dog and from the beginning it didnt do well. The hair constantly clogged it up ( my dog is a Austrailian Shepard) with small amounts of hair. The belt slips off all of the time and I have even checked with the place to repair it and they cant even find the belt for it, I guess I can only order it online. The one good thing about the vacuum is that it is purple.

Had the vacuum about 6 months, spend more time cleaning the cleaning brush out then vacuuming, hair got cot in the bearing at the end of the cleaning bar, burned the bearing out, now trying to find parts, not having any luck, I would not buy or recommend this vacuum

I do like the swivel bottom of the vacuum, and I like the lift away too. But the whole attachments with all on board, it's very heavy. I am disabled , my lower back I have all pinched nerves and herniated discs. So it is quite painful for me to use.

I like that this vacuum is lighter than my original lift off, it picks up pet hair excellently and seems to have a lot of power. The only thing I don't like is the hose pops out a lot while I am vacuuming, and the hose and wand is not as long as my previous one.

I ran this sweeper after cleaning twice and shampooing my rugs this past week. I ran it last night and again this morning and got two containers of dirt that a high end cleaner missed last week. I am impressed. The warranty is good and parts are reasonably priced. The only thing it could use is a retractable cord and a floor wand. I knew it didn't have those features when we bought it so that is not a knock. We are going to buy two for our kids today.

so I bought this vacuum on line with out touching and seeing it. I was disappointed in how much smaller the width of the vacuum was. It still operates very well and picks up stuff. I live in a two story house so I have one machine upstairs and one down stairs. I haven't used the lift off technology yet but other wise it is a good machine. it could have a longer cork.
