I have had this vacuum for almost 2 years and it works great. I have not had any issues with it and it has no problem sucking up dog hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product looks great. The reason to buy Bissell is this model has all filters washable except the motor filter which is perfect. The hoover i had previously did not have washafilters except one. The non washable filters are expensive and have to be replaced every 2 months no matter what they say. The reason not to give 5 stars to this product is I wish the back had enough space to fit all accessories.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Vacuum has great suction on both carpets & tile floors. My dog sheds alot. Swivel head is small enough to go right under my dining room chairs, etc. The pet tool attachment works great can even use it on my bedspreads as it does not tear it up. I did order the extension wand which is a must but wish it was much longer. The dusting tool is a waste of money-you can only use it on flat surfaces. Bissell needs to add a regular dusting attachment. Plus they donate money to animals! Love that.

Very impressed with this powerhouse of a vacuum and deserves the name Powerglide Premier. Lifted everything out of the carpet including the unltra fine particles of cat litter and to my surprise - fleas! The vacuum actually feels like its scrubbing the carpet as it glides across it....yes! no pushing. I don't find it heavy, it turns beautiful and no bag in it. I actually went to purchase vacuum bags for my other vacuum and this vacuum caught my eye. Best purchase I've ever made, I'll give it 10/10 for quality, looks and power. My other vacuum at double the price doesn't compare hands down !!!

I have all hardwood floors and area rugs and only needed a vacuum for area rugs. This vacuum is fantastic! It moves easily and smoothly on the floors and it cleans the area rugs without eating the edges or pulling up the rugs. I do think a retractable cord would be nice but not necessary for me. I was frustrated running over the cord since it's at the bottom of the vacuum until I noticed the little hook on the handle to hold it up. And, the long cord is definitely a plus. Another plus is that it's made by a family run business in the USA. I was so pleased with this vacuum, I purchased one of the floor steam cleaners.

Easy to use but missing items

It works really well and is very easy to empty or use on stairs. BUT it really needs an upholstery brush for furniture or dusting. The turbo brush is not the right brush for dusting, I need a dusting brush for baseboards, shelves, etc. Also it needs an extension wand b/c the twist 'n snap hose is too short for reaching up to ceiling cobwebs. Also, not as good on wood floor as I was told. This wasn't the right item for me but I'm stuck with it now. I would only recommend it if you really need to suck up LOTS of dog hair and only have carpets.
