such a disappointment

after using this item for 2 days on my dining room carpet it completely stopped spraying solution and no longer works i tried troubleshooting and waiting a minute or two for it to reset itself that worked only for a few moments then yet again nothing ... i was actually very impressed how great it cleaned my 1 carpet after going over it numerous times .... totally bummed out i have only 1 room cleaned and lots of carpet shampoo yet no functioning cleaner ... thank goodness for my store warranty fingers crossed they give me a new item

Sorry to hear it stopped spraying so soon, that definitively should not be the case. You may have some debris from cleaning covering the spray tips on the bottom of the cleaner. Bissell DeepClean System not worth money and time

I have used this product to do the carpets upstairs and downstairs using the instructions in the booklet. When done, my carpets look about the same. Juice stains and pet stains are very faintly less but definitely not worth the time and effort. I wish I could post before and after pictures as anyone could see the carpets are very little different. The only hint that any cleaning was done is that the water in the tank was dirty. That's about it. I definitely would not recommend this product to anyone else.

At first look it looks complicated to use. However, It was just the opposite. It couldn't be easier. This is a well engineered machine at a reasonable price. It did a great job on low pile carpet, deep pile carpet and with the hard floor attachment did a great job on my vinyl kitchen floor. On the carpets, I used the sample Deep Clean & Refresh detergent that came with the machine. Hard floor solution for the kitchen. This was excellent as well. It left my floors looking and smelling like new. This definitely deserves a 5 star rating.

We put the carpet in our house when we moved in 8 years ago. My son was 1 years old at the time, and has been making messes in his room ever since. I have rented carpet cleaners a few times to clean his carpet, and my room's carpet, and it has always been such a hassle. I decided to buy my own to keep our carpets clean. I thought my son's carpet would need to be replaced due to all of the stains on his ash beige carpet. I'm am SO happy I bought this Bissell carpet cleaner before ripping out his carpet. After using the Bissell my son's carpet looks brand new, and is even fluffy again! Even with the big rented machine the carpet was not left fluffy and fully clean. The Bissell was easy to assemble (8 screws for handle and attachments), and even easier to use. Cleaning the machine after use took about 5-10mins. I took all components off to clean, and make my machine lasts). All in all I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I am 65, handicapped and as most bachelors, find it hard to keep up with my housework. Add in two dogs and two cats -- and the fact I am often bed ridden for days at a time -- and you can imagine the mess I faced in cleaning my carpets. However, two runs with the DeepClean Essential and my carpets were clean! I am amazed at all the dirt it lifted and the stains it removed quickly and easily. This is definitely the best buy I've made in a long time.
