I LOVE THIS CLEANER. IT CLEANS THE CARPET VERY WELL. ONLY HAS ONE TANK. EXTRACTS THE SOLUTION LEAVING THE CARPET JUST DAMP AND IT DRIES IN ONLY A COUPLE HOURS. I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS CLEANER AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Easy to use! No more smell!

My BISSELL DeepClean Essential arrived the same day I picked up a really great recliner from a garage sale. The chair looked brand new, but was obviously used by a smoker. I did a twice over with the hand tools using the BISSELL 2X Spring Breeze Formula. No more smell and I was surprised by how much dirt was in the collection tank. As for carpet cleaning. This model is a few inches smaller that more expensive ones, has only one powerbrush, and does not have a separate tank for the soap. But it seems to clean just as well and is very easy to use. I wish it came with the hard floor attachment. I'll be sure to order that soon.

Good cleaner, have used it twice to clean carpets (of pet hair monstly). However, on third use the motor got 3 times louder to the point where i can't use it. Can't figure out how to fix it. Good product otherwise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently purchased a new (to us) house that has carpeting in all the bedrooms and in the basement. We researched carpet cleaners and, based on what we read, we ordered the Bissell ProHeat Upright to clean the carpets ourselves. It was the right decision! We cleaned them at our leisure and were impressed by the professional-quality results. Not only did we save a ton of money by doing the job ourselves, we'll be saving in the future when they need cleaning again.

This is truly an amazing machine!! I have a 20 year old Rainbow vacuum cleaner. So, i was leary about this product. BUT.. Not now. The pre-treated areas, as per the instructions, came out beautiful. Very easy to operate. I have Fibromyalgia and it was not hard to use at all. Worth every penny! You will not be disappointed.

Pump belt broke first use

Hi. I've never had issues with Bissell products before, and this was a big disappointment. After buying the Essential Deep Clean carpet cleaner I brought it to my new home and cleaned the carpets. The carpets were/are in very good condition and high grade. We decided to clean them after the movers left. The pump belt broke during the use. There wasn't even time to send in the warranty before it broke. While the part can be ordered, it is an inconvenience and makes me doubt the integrity of the product as it broke on first use. Best guess a "lemon" and hoping there won't be any issues once part arrives.

I am very happy with my new Bissell Essential Deep cleaner. It replaced an older Bissell model. This one really cleans so much better. I couldn't believe how black the dirty water was when I drained it. My carpets never looked so bright and clean. It is easier to use and much lighter too.
