Great Carpet Cleaner

I have three toddlers and this machine has been great! During the past two weeks I have owned the machine, my carpet has had juice, throw-up, wine, chocolate milk and mud spilled on it. You can look at my carpet and have no idea any of those things were there before. They look great and smell good. The water does stay warm and I only had to change the tank a couple of times for my large living room. It's easy to use and works great on my couch and stairs too! I gave my spot cleaner to my sister because I no longer need it with this machine.

I live with two dogs, one cat, a husband and son. So needless to say, our carpets get quite dirty. This carpet cleaner made them look new again. I couldn't believe the amount of dirt that came out of the carpet, especially in our living room. I try to vacuum daily and spot clean immediately so I didn't realize the carpet was that dirty. Wow, they look brand new! Love this machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First machine I had gave me nothing but trouble almost every time I used it. Purchased this model and was much happier. This is my second purchase of this particular model . Love the one bucket design. Found it to be sturdy, taking bumps and bangs and not giving me trouble. Kept it very clean and it was reliable until some black carbon dust started coming out the bottom. So I hope to have another machine that works for a long time. Unhappy that my repair man told me he is having trouble getting parts. Not sure why this is, but Bissell.... this is important to us consumers ! These machines are not used a great deal so I expect it to last. I was not happy that I had to buy a new machine because one piece was breaking down inside. Also, I do not like to throw away a working machine into the landfill.

Less than 6 months , not useable

We also have normally bought Bissel but after this time, having bought a Bissel and only 6 months old , three trips to authorized repair shoppe, and the Bissel does not suck up the dirty water or brush will not rotate to deep clean, I went out and bought a Different machine brand to clean before the Holidays, sad but true. I could take it back for the fourth time in less than a year , but quite frankly , enough is enough, I am wasting my time. the last time we used it , it just spread dirty water all over the carpet, what a mess when it dried brown. We tried several times to clean and just made it worst.

We've been using this product for less than a year and it barely sprays AND barely sucks up the water anymore...despite many efforts at cleaning nozzles and filters etc! Just spend the extra money on a higher end model!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had a very good experience with this product. It was easy to understand and setup the product to use. It was easy to use on the carpet/empty/fill container, and push back and forth on the carpet. I was pleased with the amount of dirt removed and the suction-almost dry after the two, (up and down) passes, and completely dry the next day. Completely satisfied. Can also get replacement parts which is good for longevity of product.

I have 15+ year old berber carpet that has been cleaned minimally over the years. First time I used the Bissell was on my hallway. WOW!! Next was the dining room where the cats spend most of their time. Again WOW!! My carpets look awesome and it wasn't even hard to use. I barely broke a sweat. This machine is the best item I have bought in ages!
