Not quite what I thought it was, but a good product

I won this machine. I already own the Bissel Proheat 2 cleaner and I can't help but compare the two products. I entered the sweepstakes because I was under the mistaken impression that it is a steam cleaner which it is not. However, it does keep the water nice and hot so you don't have to keep refreshing the tank. The suction is quite powerful and the machine is very maneuverable. It is a bit easier to clean than the Proheat 2 . I am not sure if the tank is smaller, but it seems to put out a lot of solution when carpet cleaning so I found myself refilling it a bit more often. It is lighter than the Proheat 2 , but has a narrower cleaning path. I've used it on both carpet and upholstery and I must say it does a great job of removing pet hair and deep soil from upholstery,even though it is not specifically a "pet" model. I'd say it is a very good product for the price.

We picked up this carpet cleaner today, as our rescue dog has had a few issues with peeing on the carpet once in awhile. The machine is easy to setup and to use, within ten minutes of unpacking it, I was cleaning the entire area. Works great with the two tank system and extracting most of the water. Follow directions and don't over saturate, but make a few more passes to remove as much water as possible, which is easy to see from the clear tank as water is being sucked up. I think it is great value for the money.

Made my carpeyt more dirty

The first time filling the tank was perfect, after refilling the tank it seems to make my carpet very dirty. I have a white carpet and very minor dirt, from normal traffic. This machine could not even clean up that. Im thinking of returning it. Very disappointed for sure.

deep clean essential is just the right size for what carpet we have it works great on those little or bigger messes or spills or even where our pup misses her puppy pad i'm happy if it last a couple of years I would then say excellent

I am a wife and a mom of a one-year old and our current living situation is a little room in my parents house. During our stay we have managed to make many spill stains and wear the carpet. My mom owns the Bissell DeepClean Essential and it is what I used to deep clean the carpet. I have to say, I was very impressed. I didn't think anything would be able to get those stains out and now the carpet is stain-free! Now we are two happy mommy's. I will buy this product in the future.

I have been paying professionals to clean my carpets for years, we have two big labs and they lay all over the place...even though they have pet beds they sleep wherever they want to. Never and I mean never has the carpet been so fluffy and clean. It dried within 24 hours. If you follow instructions and use it as directed...it's a sheer miracle.machine...gets out all the stains with the spot treatment and it's lightweight and easy to use. Does stairs great too! Says you can use it on wood floors...I haven't done that yet...but I may try that too. Thank you for making such a great tool for the average homeowner...my carpet isn't just clean..it's awesome clean and so fluffy to walk on. No matted by heavy soaps. What a great machine!!!!!
