I spend time looking at Excel spreadsheets. This monitor allows me to see a lot of information in a format that is easy to read. Great addition to my laptop.

If all you are looking for is a monitor. Id reccomend this to the point that id throw it in your cart for you. I was hoping with HDMI compatibility it would have built in speakers but it doesnt. That is honestly the only drawback. The display is crisp, responsive and brilliant. Just wish it had built in speakers.

This is my second HP2311x monitor - I like to work with two monitors at a time. The set up was easy and the monitor is flawless! Great resolution, etc.
